At Harris Hearth Breads, we don't just bake bread; we craft edible stories. Each loaf is a testament to the enduring power of simple ingredients, transformed through ancient techniques and a relentless pursuit of flavor. Local & organic stone ground flour, natural wild fermentation, and fresh milling lend our products incomparable flavor and nutrition.
We bake every week and drop menus go out to our subscribers on Tuesdays at Noon. Ordering remains open till Friday morning.
Pre-orders are picked up on Saturday mornings either directly from the bakery or from our partner, Kitchen Outfitters.

We regularly attend the Acton Boxborough Farmers market, Groton Fest, Oktoberfest, and many other local events!
Inspired by a desire to perfect a challenging but rewarding craft, and empowered by our locavore Acton community, Harris Hearth Breads was started right here in Acton in 2024 as a permitted cottage microbakery with the goal of providing fresh REAL breads to our neighbors
Just 3 ingredients! Our Breads feature organic local grains and are fermented using Sourdough. The process is not rushed at all, often taking between 24 and 48 hours to complete! The result is Artisan Hearth breads that are easily digestible, with higher nutrient bio-availability, excellent flavor, and greater keeping qualities
What truly sets us apart is our commitment to curated local sourcing and artisanal ingredients. Whether fresh farm eggs, local milk, or our freshly milled flour grown and milled right here in the Northeast, we strive to source the best of the best, and it is this quality of raw ingredients that shows in the amazing quality of our breads and baked goods!

The ultimate bread for toast, and sandwiches! Lightly sweet, luxuriously buttery, and a very soft crumb makes this a kid's favorite, but let's not joke, we all love it!
Like you haven't seen it before! Organic rolled oats are made into a warm nourishing porridge, and folded into the dough consisting of ancient grains whole wheat flour, and finally topped with rolled oats and (if you ask nicely) pepitas!
A entire 9 x 12 tray of airy, dimpled, light focaccia with a crispy top exuding the aromas of olive oil. We use the best proprietary blend of Italian soft wheat to bake these 'immense' focaccias. Variety of creative topping options (Za'Atar & Green Olive, Rosemary & Sea Salt, Sundried Tomato & Feta...)
Starting the 2025 market season, we plan to make our small batch organic sourdough bagels available for customers in a variety of flavors both by the unit, and spread with a schmear!
One of our most popular offerings! We hand-griddle these incredibly flavorful english muffins which are fermented for 30 hours and include many local ingredients. Next level flavor!
